Focusing on the early detection and treatment of diseases like Cancer.
The human microbiome comprises a collection of dynamic microbial communities that inhabit various anatomical locations in the body. The microbiome's coevolution with the host results in a strong connection to human health.
I am part of the SAFARI Research Group of ETH and CMU, mentored by Prof. Onur Mutlu. I develop bioinformatics algorithms and AI/ML techniques to analyze the microbiome from liquid biopsy samples, aiming to identify early indications of diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's.
